WHY I SIMPLIFIED THE

PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

If you’ve followed Jina LaFary Photography for any length of time, you may have noticed things are looking a little different around here.

And honestly, that’s because they are.

Over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time evaluating every part of my business. After more than 15 years as a photographer, I found myself asking a simple question:

How can I create a better experience for my clients?

Not a bigger experience.

Not a more complicated experience.

A better one.

As photographers, it’s easy to believe that more options create a better experience. More collections. More pricing choices. More decisions.

But after years of working with families, seniors, couples, children, maternity clients, and professionals, I began noticing a pattern.

Most people weren’t looking for more choices.

They were looking for clarity.

They wanted beautiful portraits.

They wanted to know they were making the right decision.

They wanted a photographer they could trust.

And they wanted the entire process to feel simple.

The truth is, photography has never been about collections or packages.

It’s about preserving the people, relationships, milestones, and memories that matter most.

So I made the decision to simplify.

Not because I wanted to offer less.

Because I wanted to offer better.

Every change I’ve made has been guided by three words:
